Privacy
Everything you enter into Pack Whistle is worked out in your browser. Nothing you type, tick or save is sent to us or to anyone else. There are no accounts, no ads and no trackers.
What is kept in your browser
Some planners keep your entries in your browser’s local storage, on this device only, so they are there when you come back. Nothing is written until you change something, or for the household plan, until you press Save.
- packwhistle-kit: the kit builder’s household, packed date and ticks.
- packwhistle-gobag: the go-bag packer’s settings, the items you left out and the door card text.
- packwhistle-plan: your household emergency plan, only after you press “Save in this browser”. It can include names, phone numbers, addresses of meeting places and medical notes, so use this only on a device you trust.
- packwhistle-theme: your light or dark choice, if you pick one.
The water, food and winter car planners store nothing. To delete what is kept, use “Delete saved plan” on the plan page, “Example” on the kit builder or go-bag packer, or clear this site’s data in your browser settings. Clearing your browser data removes everything, so keep printed copies of anything you rely on.
Page counts
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which Cloudflare adds to every page. It counts page views without cookies or cross-site tracking and never receives what you type, tick or save in the tools. The site does not use cookies.
Links to other sites
Pages link to official sources and to other websites. When you follow a link, that site’s own privacy policy applies.
